About us

You guessed it.  We do the chore that no one in your house wants to do- We scoop the poop!

But unlike other services we do all pets.  We scoop the yard like everyone else - but we also specialize in cat litter boxes for the pregnant woman who know the dangers of Toxoplasmosis to her unborn child, the home bound cat owner that finds this chore difficult to do and those who just need it done well.  We scoop and clean bird cages, large and small- including aviaries. We have many exotic owners with many habitats that just need a helping hand so that cleaning isn’t an all day chore.  Our farm animal owners really appreciate our services when life gets busy.  The larger the animal, the more waste is produced every day and it is real easy to get behind with this chore.

Our service staff are all fully bonded, insured, mature, highly trained adults who come to your home at your convenience and remove the waste and clean the yard, litter box and area, cage, habitat, aquarium, barn, paddock, pasture or stall to your needs and satisfaction.  We either dispose of the waste on your property in your cans or remove it per your instructions.  Removal of large volumes of waste may require an additional fee for hauling it to a land fill.

We provide a wide range of service levels- from a one time deep cleaning, to a daily, bi-weekly, weekly, bi-monthly or monthly visit.  You chose the frequency and days you want service and you chose the time of day.  We are here to fit your schedule.  Most customers schedule around holidays but we are available even on holidays for an additional fee.  Our rates are very competitive and reasonable- based on time only.  We are dedicated to the highest standards in the industry and provide this service at no extra charge to our Kennel Alternative pet sitting clients.

Services

 Dog Waste

Scooping dog waste is not a favorite chore for most dog owners.  However, it is a necessary one that is   strongly recommended by veterinarians.  Flies from infected dogs in your neighborhood can transmit disease to the waste in your yard and expose your beloved pet to a greater risk of some very infectious diseases.  Some can even be transmitted to you or your children.  Keeping up on this chore is good for everyone’s health!

We also scoop your yard so you can use it again. We do lawns and gravel landscaping and runs- as well as breeding crates and whelping boxes. We use bio-degradable plastic bags and disposable gloves to place the waste in, wear disposable, biodegradable gloves and disinfect equipment before each visit.  Disposal is either in your trash can or dumpster- or we can remove it from the premises- your choice-no extra charge.

We recommend at least bi-monthly scooping for health reasons-more frequently if you have more than one or two dogs.  If this is a chore you haven’t done in a year (which is quite common) that does not intimidate us.  We charge by time, not volume.

 Cat Litter boxes

We have many pregnant women use our cat box scooping service.  All pregnant women should avoid being near the liter box for the full term of their pregnancy to protect their unborn child from toxoplasmosis- which causes birth defects.  If there is no one available to do this chore in your home or a pregnant relative, friend or neighbor’s home- give us a call and we’d be glad to help.

Many homebound cat owners find cleaning a cat litter box a great challenge or even impossible to do.  Some times they resort to taking the risks of letting their cat roam outside to avoid neglecting their cats‘ potty needs.  This risk is not necessary because we are available to provide this service.  We work with you to find an economic solution for you-suggesting multiple boxes so your budget can afford fewer visits.

We remove all the old waste and litter, disinfect the boxes and clean and disinfect the litter box area.  We also clean and disinfect your scoop on every visit.  For the home bound we can even bring fresh cat litter just for the cost of the litter or arrange to have the fresh litter delivered by one of the fine delivery services in the East Valley (We’ll order it for you for free- you pay the delivery company their delivery fee and charges for the litter).

 Bird Cages

Avian veterinarians highly recommend clean cages.  The risk of molds and flies being attracted to a dirty
cage put both you and your birds at risk.  A bird with a clean cage is definitely a healthier and happier bird.

We remove all waste, clean and disinfect the cage with non toxic products and do not expose your bird to dangerous fumes or exposure to other birds.  We wear disposable gloves and change between stops to prevent the spread of disease. We clean all the bowls and dishes, all the rails and perches as well as the area around the cages.

Large birds are almost always messy.  In nature their messiness serves a very valuable service to their habitat. They are nature’s seed spreaders and they are very liberal in this gesture- as any parrot or Macaw owner knows! We clean the floors and walls around the cage too.  Instead of squawking they’ll be prancing and singing when we are done.

Exotics Habitats

Hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits all have cages or glass habitats that need regular cleaning.  Daily scooping by the pet owner is the easiest way to maintain the habitat for up to a week. Then comes the deep cleaning.  The litter or bedding needs to be changed, the cage cleaned and fresh clean bedding or litter added. We provide this service on a weekly, or one time basis.

We use bio-degradable plastic bags and disposable gloves to place the waste in, wear disposable, biodegradable gloves and disinfect equipment before each visit.  Disposal is either in your trash can or dumpster- or we can remove it from the premises- your choice-no extra charge.

 Reptile Habitats

Geckoes, Bearded Dragons, chameleons, Salamanders Iguanas, non-venomous snakes and turtles and tortoises all have habitats that should be cleaned on a regular basis.  Bedding should be replaced and bowls,  habitat shelters and the walls of the habitat should be cleaned with non toxic cleaner.  Many reptile and lizard owners have more than one habitat and this chore can become an “all day” chore very easily.  We are here to help.

We use bio-degradable plastic bags and disposable gloves to place the waste in, wear disposable, biodegradable gloves and disinfect equipment before each visit.  Disposal is either in your trash can or dumpster- or we can remove it from the premises- your choice-no extra charge.

Goats

Every goat owner knows that a clean pen, paddock or yard is a necessity for healthy, happy goats. This is a daily chore that can easily get overwhelming quickly with busy schedules and unforeseen events. Why fill an entire morning or afternoon catching up on this chore on your precious weekend when you can hire us?

We use bio-degradable plastic bags and disposable gloves to place the waste in, wear disposable, biodegradable gloves and disinfect equipment before each visit.  Disposal is either in your trash can or dumpster- or we can remove it from the premises- your choice-no extra charge.

 Horses

By far the biggest producer of waste of any domestic pet- the horse keeps you busy scooping.
It is so easy to get behind on this chore.  We scoop stalls, paddocks and pastures. Most horse owners in the East Valley have irrigated pasture and a clean-up before a scheduled irrigation helps keep your pasture sanitary.  Regular stall, paddock and arena clean-ups keep the fly’s and the diseases they may carry under control.  Clean stalls make cleaner horses too.

We usually use your equipment to clean up after your horses on your property. We do have our own equipment just in case.  We dispose of the waste according to your instructions.  Usually into your containers or dumpsters.  If you want the waste removed there is an additional charge to take it away to the local landfill.
